Houston Zoo Ticket Prices

Admission to the Houston Zoo is free for active duty military personnel and their families (limit 8 persons per visit).  A valid Military ID must be shown. Offer not valid for ticketed special events.

 

Lone Star Card Admission

Effective August 1, 2008, admission to the Houston Zoo is free for residents presenting a valid Lone Star Card (limit 8 immediate family members per visit) and proof of residency.  A valid photo ID (Texas Drivers License or Texas Department of Public Safety photo ID card) must be shown to confirm card holder status.  Lone Star Card holder of record must accompany their party.  Tickets issued day of visit only; no advance tickets will be issued.  Offer not valid for ticketed special events.
