Leap Day at the Houston Zoo

On February 29th Leap Day the Houston Zoo welcomed 150 1st graders from Smith Elementary School in Pasadena ISD to help us celebrate amphibians. To kick off the Year of the Frog all of the children received Panamanian golden frog conservation bracelts enjoyed a short amphibian program thanks to our Interpretive Staff Bennett Dones and Laren McLaughlin.
